Getting ready for college, or to start your career? Here are some tools, tips, and important dates that will help save you time and money - and make sure you end up exactly where you want to be.

LearningExpress Library: Practice tests, tutorials, articles, and study materials to help you prepare for tests like the ACT and SAT, the GED, GMAT and LSAT, the U.S. citizenship exam, career and licensure exams, and more. View Tutorial (Via INSPIRE)

CareerCruising: Contains resources both for a career search and for a college search.

Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO): An international organization with a local Indiana chapter helping women achieve education through scholarships, grants, awards, and loans. Look under P.E.O. Projects for financial aid eligibility.

Important Dates:

September 25: Legacy Foundation Lilly Endowment Scholarship Applications Due

The Lilly Endowment Scholarship provides a four-year scholarship, including a stipend for books. Apply for the Lilly Endowment Scholarship here.

September 22-26: College Application Week

Many Indiana schools waive application fees during this week! Learn more about Indiana's College Go initiative and College Application Week.

October 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026: 2026-2027 FAFSA Open

FAFSA is the form you fill out to qualify for federal grants and loans to help pay for college. Colleges may also use the FAFSA to determine eligibility for other financial aid. Complete the FAFSA here.

Fall/Winter 2025: Legacy Foundation Universal Scholarship Application Opens

Apply for many scholarships at once through the Legancy Foundation. Eligible students may be awarded a scholarship from one or more different funds. See what scholarships are available and apply.
