Know Before You Go:

Rules for Library Appointments

1: Facial coverings are required.

• Face coverings (masks) must be worn at all times within library buildings
• Face coverings must cover your mouth and nose
• Face coverings include scarves, bandanas, masks, or any other fabric covering that can be worn over your mouth and nose. 

2: Appointments may be made up to 7 days in advance.

3: Appointments are for 1 hour per day.

4: Only one appointment on the books at a time.

• There is a 24-hour waiting period after the end of one appointment before another may be booked. This is to ensure equal access to our limited resources. 

5: Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

6: Only one person per appointment unless:

• You are under 16 years old (an adult is required)
• You need a helper (ie, a translator, technical help for computers, etc)
• You must let us know at the time of booking if someone will accompany you

7: Arrive on time. Your time will not be extended if you're late.

8: You will need your library card number and PIN to log on to a computer.

9: Practice social distancing.

• Maintain at least 6 feet of distance between yourself and other people in the building, including library staff. 
• Staff will not be able to provide "over the shoulder" assistance as we will be maintaining the recommended distance.

10: If you feel sick, stay home. There is no penalty for canceling library appointments!
