Want to learn something? The library is the place to go! Here are the classes coming up at all locations over the next few days:

Lake Station-New Chicago - Large Meeting Room

$35* is due at time of class. Participants who successfully complete the course will earn a CPR Course completion card valid for 2 years. Taught by certified CPR instructor, Paula Thompson, RN.

Dyer-Schererville - Meeting Room Whole (A & B)

Facilitated by an experienced language instructor and native Spanish speaker, these free sessions are open to adults and high school students interested in improving Spanish conversation skills.

Lake Station-New Chicago - Large Meeting Room

Evidence based program to teach seniors and their caregivers tips to reduce fall hazards and improve their balance. Exercises will be demonstrated. Refreshments will be served. Sponsored by NWICA.

The Dyer-Visionary Art group will demo melted crayon art. Using what they've learned, attendees will create their own work of art. Canvas and crayons provided, but please bring your own hair dryer.

More Than Just Story Time!

Bring your child to our Mother Goose on the Loose classes! These classes are free and are designed to teach parents how to play with their babies and toddlers in a way that stimulates growth and development (especially for speech and fine motor skills!)
